Peran Gaya Kepemimpinan Ketua RW dalam Membentuk Budaya Organisasi dan Kerukunan Antar Warga: Sebuah Studi Kasus pada Organisasi Rukun Warga di Kabupaten Karawang

Keberagaman latar belakang agama, suku, dan pekerjaan masyarakat pada kawasan permukiman menuntut adanya kepemimpinan komunitas yang mampu membangun budaya organisasi serta menjaga kerukunan antarwarga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran gaya kepemimpinan Ketua Rukun Warga dalam membentuk budaya organisasi dan memperkuat kerukunan antarwarga melalui studi kasus pada RW 24 Kelurahan Palumbonsari, Kecamatan Karawang Timur, Kabupaten Karawang. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan dokumentasi terhadap sembilan informan yang terdiri atas pengurus Rukun Warga, tokoh masyarakat, dan perwakilan warga. Analisis data dilakukan melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, serta penarikan kesimpulan dengan menerapkan teknik triangulasi sumber untuk meningkatkan keabsahan temuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Ketua Rukun Warga menerapkan gaya kepemimpinan demokratis dan partisipatif yang diwujudkan melalui musyawarah, keterbukaan informasi, serta pelibatan aktif masyarakat dalam berbagai kegiatan. Praktik kepemimpinan tersebut membentuk budaya organisasi yang ditandai oleh berkembangnya nilai gotong royong, keterbukaan, toleransi, dan solidaritas sosial. Budaya organisasi tersebut menjadi fondasi terciptanya kerukunan antarwarga yang tercermin dari meningkatnya partisipasi masyarakat, menguatnya kepercayaan sosial, bertambahnya kolaborasi lintas kelompok, serta menurunnya konflik di lingkungan permukiman. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa budaya organisasi berperan sebagai mekanisme yang menghubungkan praktik kepemimpinan Ketua Rukun Warga dengan terbentuknya kerukunan antarwarga pada komunitas permukiman yang multikultural.
