Kerusakan Struktur Glomerulus dan Tubulus Ginjal Ikan Zebra Betina (Danio rerio) Akibat Induksi Variasi Diet Tinggi Lemak

Introduksi : Diet tinggi lemak dapat memicu terjadinya obesitas pada ikan zebra. Salah satu komplikasi dari obesitas adalah penyakit ginjal kronis akibat gangguan fungsi nefron. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh variasi diet tinggi lemak terhadap perubahan struktur glomerulus dan kerusakan tubulus secara histopatologis pada ikan zebra betina.
Metode : Penelitian eksperimental ini menggunakan ikan zebra betina yang dibagi menjadi empat kelompok perlakuan (n = 6) : Kelompok pelet (P) sebagai kontrol, kuning telur + pelet (KTP), kolesterol + pelet (KP), dan artemia (A). Intervensi diet dilakukan selama 28 hari dengan dosis 3,5% berat badan untuk P, 5% berat badan untuk KTP dan KP, serta 6-7% untuk A yang diberikan sebanyak tiga kali sehari. Parameter histopatologi yang dievaluasi meliputi diameter glomerulus, lebar kapsula Bowman, dan vakuolisasi tubulus. Data diameter glomerulus dan lebar kapsula Bowman dianalisis menggunakan uji One-Way ANOVA, sedangkan data vakuolisasi tubulus dianalisis menggunakan uji Kruskal-Wallis.
Hasil dan diskusi : Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh signifikan pada diameter glomerulus, lebar kapsula Bowman, dan vakuolisasi tubulus antar kelompok perlakuan (p<0.05). Kelompok KTP menunjukkan kerusakan paling besar yang ditandai dengan peningkatan diameter glomerulus sebesar 27,83%, lebar kapsula Bowman sebesar 233,05%, dan vakuolisasi tubulus sebesar 51-75% dibandingkan dengan kelompok P.
Kesimpulan : Disimpulkan bahwa variasi diet kuning telur + pelet selama 28 hari memengaruhi perubahan struktur glomerulus serta kerusakan tubulus pada ikan zebra betina sehingga berpotensi digunakan sebagai model induksi obesitas dan komplikasi pada ginjal pada ikan zebra betina.
